![]() ![]() We salute Officers Webb and Scott for participating in this 9/11 Memorial Ruck here at our hospital and thank them for allowing us to be a part of this tribute. Many Americans remember a country before and a country after, and for many young Americans, only a country after. The significance of this pattern: 1 mile ruck represents the distance around the Pentagon, the 3960 stairs equal the 110 stories in each of the Twin Towers, and the 4 miles remember the 4th plane lost in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.ĮGRMC employees held a Moment of Remembrance during that time, and lined the hallways to cheer on the officers as they made their way out of the hospital after finishing the 3960 stairs portion of the challenge. The nation changed forever on September 11, 2001. It will be well worth it Date of experience: October 2019. They started with a one mile ruck to the hospital, climbed 3960 stairs (total of 220 stories), then went on to finish the challenge after leaving the hospital with a 4 mile ruck.
